EQUALUX - TASTE of GSBA, on November 23rd at the Westin Seattle Hotel, is one of the most unique and inspiring events our community has to offer and it has become the largest LGBTQ and friends Gala in the Pacific Northwest with over 1,000 people coming together to raise funds to power the dreams of our future LGBTQ and allied leaders.

Last year we raised over $1,100,000 for the GSBA Scholarship Fund. 

This is not your average fundraiser. Guests are sophisticated lovers of the arts and culture, they love great wine and wonderful food, and they are supportive of the businesses that support our cause, the GSBA Scholarship Fund*.

Your donation will provide visibility for your business and show your community that you support LGBTQ & ally students who believe in equality for all.  Your donations will receive prominent visibility at the event, as well as on the GSBA website.  Items selected for the Live Auction will also be featured in the catalogue and in email marketing for the event.

If you prefer to spend the night at the hotel and enjoy everything downtown Seattle has to offer, the Westin Seattle has a limited number of hotel rooms for guests of EQUALUX.

The Westin Seattle is offering the following room options at a special event rate of : USD $165.00 + CHARGES & TAXES :

EQUALUX is an evening that begins with our VIP receptIon, wine tastings from top Washington wineries, caterer showcase featuring some of Seattle’s best restaurants, our premium live auction, local entertainers and so much more.

5:00 PM - VIP Entry, Speakeasy, Silent Auction, Premium Wine Tasting, Caterer Showcase

5:30 PM - General Entry, Silent Auction, Reception, Entertainment, The Wine District, Dancing, Features, Caterer Showcase

6:30 PM - Silent Auction sections begin to close

7:00 PM - Begin taking  your seats, Silent Auction closes

7:25 PM - Emerald Ticket raffle winners announced, live auction, and dinner program

PARKING & TRANSPORTATIOn

We have made arrangements with the Westin Hotel for a special valet parking flat-rate of $27 for the evening (not applicable to overnight guests). 

Valet parking entrance is located on Westlake Avenue, between 6th Avenue and Stewart Street, limited space is available. 

Self-parking alternatives are available within a two block radius of the hotel. Free* parking available at Amazon building underground lot located on 6th ave between Virginia Street and Lenora Street.

The Westin is centrally located to major bus lines and rail connections.  We encourage you to use these modes of transportation or ride-share service.

*As of September 2019, Amazon building parking is free on weekends but that could change without notice, please check with lot for details.
